Snow Cooking

Child Pretend cooking with snow

I recently shared how my son has been playing outside with his trucks. Here’s another simple way to play in the snow:

Snow Cooking!

These pictures are of Peanut making “mashed potatoes”. I gave him the bowls and utensils and he was happy as can be.

He used bits of cedar and spruce needles for spices and seasoning.

I gave Peanut a small container of bird seed and he mixed that in.

Peanut’s mashed potatoes might not have been edible but at least there were no messy dishes to do ;).
